Indian Summer with Old Rectory Clothing Co

Ethical fashion blogger | slowliving photographer | creative storytelling

Join us today on Junior Style London for the full post about our autumnal adventures while Oak is wearing The Old Rectory Clothing Co.

After school we have managed a couple of beautiful warm autumn evenings over at Attingham Park, full of copper red and golden leaves, woodland strolls & picnic tea before the days wane & the nights close in ready for the winter’s brace.

It’s a natural paradise soaking up the last Indian summer warmth wearing whismical brand, The Old Rectory Clothing Co with it’s array of delightful nostalgic rich autumnal colours.

Refreshing our every autumn senses with simple charm, Oak is naturally adorned in a button up laundered linen top in rust red with beautiful chunky natural wooden buttons.

The pleasant soft to touch corduroy trousers in brown with exquisite detailed elasticated waistand & pockets large enough for my free spirited child to collect his conkers, natural treasures and Match Attax cards.

Creative passion is woven into each handmade piece by Eleanor, The Old Rectory Clothing Co owner, with a dedication to a slower pace of living by opting for comfortable linen & cotton with longevity and a nod to ethical production at it’s very core.

Having a family of three it was important for practical creative clothes to last the test of time for little adventures. The AW18 collection made only in small unique batches are full of clean cuts that are perfectly simple with no fuss yet stunning creating complete freedom, beautiful detailing and gorgeous natural colours.

Drawing inspiration from the seasons, botanical natural dyes with earthly rich tones are graciously infused into the fabrics making these garments truly as natural as our surroundings.

With further consideration for the sustainability, even the old rectory stamped packaging & oak leaf labels in which the clothing flawlessly arrive is biodegradable and can be recycled. We naturally couldn’t resist to place the sweet cardboard box on the bookshelf centred stage storing all our little knick knacks.

Oak is free to run around in this glorious Indian summer climbing trees and simply being a child living a life in harmony with nature in complete comfortable charm. We know these chic heirloom pieces will be impossible to resist wearing daily for many seasons to come.

The Old Rectory Clothing Co with there quintessentially British folk playful designs have us entirely captivated since they are made for children who can treasure the little things and simply embrace playful adventure.
